Powerpoint presentations (and similar) are often boring. They easily become turgid replacements for good communication, offering a standard, but unimaginative way to get messages across. On the 25th May, 12-4pm, we are running a session of exploring, creating and re-imagining ways to present information.
This is not a training workshop and I am not an expert in creating presentations. The aim of this session is to work as a group to play with and challenge ideas; to work on alternative ways to present to and communicate with an audience and to give people a chance to develop and try out new things. You might want to try using computer based presentation in a new way or go completely offline. It’s a bit of an experiment, if you would like to join us, book a space at:
http://alterpresentation.eventbrite.co.uk
This is a paid-for workshop and all proceeds will go to coFWD to contribute to the running of the space. If you are unable to pay online, please email me at:
and I will arrange an alternative.

Please note, our venue is a very old bank building that is being slowly shaped by a community of individuals for long-term Community Interest. Sadly the startup project is in its infancy and being run on limited funds so the building currently has some accessibility issues. If you have specific access or disability requirements and would like to participate in an event or activity please let us know at least 5 days before the event date so that we can do our utmost to resolve any potential problems to accommodate.
