This coming Saturday (29th September) from 1pm sees the next Startup Saturday being held at coFWD. This will involve the usual mix of discussion about projects that we are working on as well as a workshop being run by previous Startup Saturday attendee David Ridge who asked if he could contribute in such a way after the previous Startup Saturday. Here is some information on what David is preparing:
“Conversations are the stem cells of learning,
for they both create and transmit knowledge.”
You are invited to:
Pro Action Café
– an afternoon workshop with conversations that matter –
– to explore your questions about life or projects you engage with
– to discover something new while meeting people with their fresh and new perspectives
– to engage and relate with peers, to share knowledge and experiences
– to develop new meaning for you and our selves.
– to co-create your projects, actions, adventures, or journeys.
Plan for surprise and join with like-minded, creative, responsible people!
If you feel called to participate, you are invited.
If you have received this invitation, you may invite your friends or colleagues that you personally know and would like to join us !
The great thing about emergence in meetings is that you never know where you will end up – but you can be sure that it is meaningful, real and populated with people who care as much as you do.
Programme:
13.00 General check-in and reception opens, prepare your questions
13.45 table sessions around hot topics of relevance to you
with three conversation rounds on:
“what is the quest behind our question”
“what is missing”
“what do I learn from this”
towards 14.30 Harvesting results and outcomes
14.45 Remainder of Start-up Saturday

If anyone else has any other suggestions on what they would like to talk about or do at this Startup Saturday, please feel free to post a comment on this blog post, tweet me (@becomeknown) or use the Get in Touch page on this website.
If you have something that you would like to discuss that you have been working on for years please do not think that “Startup Saturdays” is not for you as I think it would be of use. I like to think of “Startups” as more of a mentality than anything else.
Please note, our venue is a very old bank building that is being slowly shaped by a community of individuals for long-term Community Interest. Sadly the startup project is in its infancy and being run on limited funds so the building currently has some accessibility issues. If you have specific access or disability requirements and would like to participate in an event or activity please let us know at least 5 days before the event date so that we can do our utmost to resolve any potential problems to accommodate.
