Hello friends of 161,
November 1st marked one year since the doors swung open at 161 High Street, Rochester. Many awesome things have happened in the past year. Skills have been learnt, projects embarked upon, problems solved, friendships formed and an unthinkable amount of biscuits consumed.
We’ll be open both days this coming weekend (the 24th and 25th) from 10am, the kettle will be on and we’d love you to come and reflect, chat, plan and help give some love to this quirky old building and to the coFWD community. The weekend will be loosely themed around a mix of DIY, discussions and tasty snacks. If there’s anything you’d like to tackle or things you’d like to chat about, please let us know and we’ll help make that happen.
Everyone who has passed through the doors in the past 12 months has played an important part in making 161 a pretty unique place. Whether you have a few hours to spare, or can only pop by for a quick cuppa, we hope to see you next weekend. More details can be found on Facebook. Or please feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions.
